Austin Bar members have access to the online Travis County Bench Book: Court Resource Guide, which features information on the Austin area courts, including questionnaires answered by judges, contact information for each court, and local rules for each court.
Austin Bar members enjoy a reduced fee for all CLE offerings sponsored by the Austin Bar. The Austin Bar Association offers approximately seven to 10 full-day Continuing Legal Education programs and sponsors several free member-only programs throughout the year.

The Austin Bar offers members the opportunity to join any of our 24 substantive law sections. Throughout the year, the sections meet to conduct business and offer various CLE programs. The chair of each section serves on the Austin Bar board.

Austin Lawyer is an award-winning newsletter published 10 times a year for members of the Austin Bar Association. It also includes information on decisions from the Third Court of Appeals, CLE opportunities, and members’ and committees’ accomplishments.
Bar Code is the Austin Bar Association’s weekly e-newsletter emailed each Tuesday featuring news and events of interest to the legal community.
The Austin Bar was the first local bar in Texas to offer a web site. The Bar continues to utilize the latest technology to benefit our members and the public.
